There are lots of quality of life improvements that macros can help you with, and yes, even some limited benefits when it comes to combat. This led me to tinkering around with user macros, a very useful tool for automating all sorts of things in the game and making things a tiny bit friendlier to my user experience. As I became more and more interested in FFXIV I started looking at smaller things that could improve my gameplay experience.
